Except for USB cable and that’s okay; I’ll be back in England within the year and will be getting my DAC fettled, so will most likely move over to a new method of ‘digital’ signal transmission then. I know I sound like a stuck record but I’m certain (as great vfm they are) my speakers are a significant bottleneck in the system and even if I were to just replace those it’d be a big step up. Galan 9 + 6D in combination will unlock even more latent potential. I’m excited, this is what the hobby is all about - more music 😊 |

The BD jumpers on my TADs were a bonkers difference.
Doesn't make sense to me
As is often the case I wonder why Tony bothers to bring some items then when I hear the difference I know !

Yep, the BD jumpers actually made me disbelieve what I was hearing. Stupidly good.

I suspect a meet up when you're back in Blighty will be in order! That’s a great idea. It’d be really interesting to hear some other systems as a point of reference. I’ll be happy to host a meet up around mine as well. RE: BD jumpers, I’d love to be able to afford a pair of them but I just have to ‘slum it’ with 6D right now. I know that when I’ve found my ‘final’ speakers, I’ll get them completely rewired with BD. Has anyone considered taking / taken this step? I’d love to hear your experiences if yes. Martin, have you tried other BD cables as you rate the jumpers so much? |

I have a BD power cable into the P10. Speaker cables are 6D with BD jumpers.
