Dave, this continual 'oh dear, look the forum's down' stuff isn't helpful, when you're working like a blue-arsed fly in the background trying to get things fixed! Therefore, instead of moaning here like a big girl about the forum being down, go out and enjoy the sunshine, or listen to some music, until things are back to normal!  Cheers! Marco. Actually dude I wasn't 'moaning like a girl', as you so elegantly put it', but rather letting people know that the problem isn't at their end and besides, my Twitter account seems to have mislaid my password and seeing as I hardly use it now I haven't bothered to sort it. I've just spoken to Nick and was about to post up his reply concerning the issue, I don't think I'll bother now. |

Dave, that's fair enough. However, trust me, there's nothing more annoying for someone who's trying to fix a problem reading about people drawing attention to it, in a way that is strongly coming across as a moan, simply because they've been mildly inconvenienced for a bit (which is how I interpreted your comments from your chosen use of smilies). Try seeing things from *our* point of view... We've been here before, remember? Anyway, if that's not how you intended your comments to come across, then I accept that. However, in future, if you can't access the Twitter feeds please just sit tight and wait for the site to come back up or email me and ask what the problem is, rather than starting threads like this, which only serve to attract sarcastic comments from others. In Marco's defence DQ he must be pretty stressed just now due to the forum issues and perhaps I should have thought about that in advance before posting up the thread. Had it gone down just the once I wouldn't have but in actuality it went down three times, for just a minute or two each time, which I found quite funny (in a positive kind of way) as I was in the middle of posting a reply concerning my recent 'knob' debacle... Cue knob jokes... |
