I updated. Still got a weird one where in Spotify I press for a track, but get the next one in a playlist, or album! Pressing the preceding one plays the one I wanted!
Very strange.

That... is strange. I rarely use Spotify except to fill in for something missing in Qobuz, but still often enough to know that I've never seen this happen.
Worth reporting, I think.

I prefer using Spotify via connect than the Spotify playlist in volumio, a lot nicer to navigate.

More good work with the back end.
Adding a track to a Qobuz playlist appears immediately in Volumio. Nice.

Can you put the volumio img. On a 32 gig sd card,I’m trying to put the new image on it and when I install Spotify plugins after it’s finished,I rebooted the digione it just does not load up I’ve tried quite a few times still doesn’t work.,the curser just spins and goes no further, volumio.local does not work also inputting the the IP address in but it’s just the same.when I put a different 16gig sd card with a older image on it works the way it’s supposed to.

You can definitely use a 32GB microSD card. I suggest you try a different card since the one you're using may be corrupted.
What do you use to burn the image to card? Does it give any errors?

It comes up with no errors, the volumio operating system loads,it’s only when I install Spotify connect. Etc and reboot digione ithe cursor just spins and does not boot up,so I connect to Spotify to the volumio digione cursor just spins.only happens after I install the Spotify’s and radio paradise, before I restart volumio I can connect to my network naw drives on the digione.I was wondering if it could be the latest image because if I use an older image it works fine on a different sd card, the 32 gig card is a new Kingston card which I have formatted to fat 32.I’ve tried Volumio.local/ and going into the router to see what,s connected,,like I said I can change the settings in volumio it’s just does not start up after installing the programs.

Check the router in case the Volumio normally picks up a different IP address after restarting? It might just be somewhere else. volumio.local/ I found doesn't always update immediately so you might find it's gone to, for instance, 192.168.1.101 but the router will tell you what's connected under DHCP.

Just to bring this up to date as far as stable releases are concerned: Update v2.853
IMPORTANT: This release contains a new implementation of TIDAL and QOBUZ. You need to re-login again into your TIDAL or QOBUZ account to use them. If something is not working properly for you, you can disable the new implementation from Sources Settings, by setting Enable Experimental TIDAL and QOBUZ to off. FIXES
- Open Beta of new TIDAL and QOBUZ implementations enabled by default
- Fix REST API without user agent

Spotify still doing it's play the next track thing. I use Spotify connect if playing any serious amount of Spotify. As John says the Spotify app interface is so much better.
I know they are working on Tidal connect. Would be great with a Qobuz connect. The app is really nice to use. Bring able to sort playlists names manually is great (can't do that in Spotify). Ever hopeful.

I use the mixer setting 'None' on mine as I use my DAC's volume remote control.
'Hardware' I believe only works if it senses a volume controllable DAC.

Interesting, I have to have Hardware checked ✓ on mine for no DAC volume control. When ‘None’ is checked ✓ my volume is cut by 1/3 from my streamer. I use Hardware control. On my Volumio Version it is – General Playback Options > Mixer Type > (drop-down box check ✓ ‘Hardware’)
