For those of you like me who miss your Spotify playlists in Volumio, since Spotify broke the functionality in Librespotify, follow the admittedly convoluted instructions here: volumio.org/forum/help-needed-test-spotify-plugin-with-oauth-t10071-160.htmlHopefully the fixed index.js file will find its way into a future update. Another tip for Android users: install the Volumio app. It's only a couple of quid but finds the Pi no matter what the IP address, saving you faffing around trying to find it when the IP changes.

For once, I'm ahead of you!
Oh ho, look at this: a OneDrive music file plug-in. Now that's my sort of VERY USEFUL plug-in that I've been wanting. I could potentially get rid of my NAS Spinny thing and put my ripped music files there.

...and it works, I can play my music files on OneDrive. Excellent!

This improves Volumio with Spotify impressively. Not only playlists are shown, but compiled-for-you, Discover and other lists, too. Also recently played tracks, your top artists etc. It takes Volumio almost to the point of not requiring the Spotify client at all.

I can't get the plugin to work, keeps saying I need to log in. I guess I'm putting in too much or too little code.
Have tried the last 4 numbers and then what looks to be the whole code with no joy - any suggestions?

Copy exactly the section between CODE= and the last & bit, as exampled in the plug-in itself. It's a longish string.
It works well for me.

Thanks. Bit of a performance for me, think I'll miss this one. Or maybe I'll try restoring the original config.txt and do an in-place upgrade.

Thanks. Bit of a performance for me, think I'll miss this one. Or maybe I'll try restoring the original config.txt and do an in-place upgrade. I've just updated and all I needed to do was C&P the 'basic' config.txt back in, update, and then c&p the altered config.txt back. WinSCP makes changes like that so easy.

Ok, I'll give it a go using PuTTY (I had the forethought to put my config.txt and the Spotify index.js files in the boot folder).

Seeing the value of an android phone now then;) sorry couldn't resist

I do miss my Windows Phone but Android has fitted in well once I installed the Microsoft Launcher, Edge, Office applications, OneNote, OneDrive etc. It integrates rather well with my Windows machines now.

Has anyone else noticed that setting Qobuz Sound Quality in Volumio to Highest Possible doesn't? I have to set it to FLAC high-res up to 24/192 to get the best resolution playback.

What's the current view on upsampling within Volumio?
Currently using 24/88.2 and it works for me.

It only works with files, not with streaming services.
I find 24/88.2 good for CD rips.

Didn't realise it was files only. No worries, I've just stopped my Tidal subscription for the time being.
