Still Life With Tweeter and Gamma Waves! That's interesting, Chris, and strangely along the lines of a production sample I've been discussing of late with a vendor. Must get more info on it.

Did I see ferrite beads, or was I imagining things?

Sounds intriguing. I know a little about Gamma Waves and human perception. Can't wait to see how this connects with listening pleasure, if that's what it's about.

Ok, so a quick photo with my mobile as my camera is kaput. This little kit is intriguing and I'm grateful for the production sample loan. I'm really not sure how it works but I've had the chance to listen to its effects for a couple of evenings now. It's definitely doing something interesting with the soundstage - bigger, wider, with more 'room' in the room. I find the charging procedure into the end of the cables a bit fiddly and I don't like having to unplug them but it's all worked so far on my SACD to preamp (Yannis) and preamp to power amp (NVA TIS) interconnects. The very sketchy instructions suggest that one charge is good for 2-3 months so there won't be too much disruption while I settle into some more listening. So far so very good!

This device “charges” the cables? What does that do, and why would I want one?

It's a bit like the dance of the seven veils - I was never much into teasing, very overrated. I'm a 'get the feck on with it' type of guy - so I'm bored already
