Around 7am this morning there I was reading the electricity meter. I'm trying to gauge our use
Nearly caught the reading when it went blank
?
Then back again
Music stopped then started again as the Pioneer CD does after a mains cut
Off and back on so quickly the SMSL amp stayed on
Unfortunately the Tivo is really messed up by these instant off/on. Needed setting up again

I find other things to do when I can
Good reminder sometimes to do stuff in the garden, go to bed and other
Usually I am philosophical
Then there are the problems caused by the naff builders who did the house refurb
Leaving the gutters full of rubbish, masonry and other
Running roof felt *under* flashing. Overlaying flashing *against* the flow
Leaving rubbish in the heating system so the expansion tank seized
and many others
Been keeping an eye on house batteries. Too much money at present
I have been known to be a bad boy in this life !

When I were a lad...
Went to see Genesis at Farnbourgh Tech
Could only stand at the back as packed.
A lady standing by me said
That's my son playing guitar (Steve Hackett). Just joined Genesis
Few years later when I was working in London I had McCann Erickson as a customer.
My contact who I got to know well was

I used to hang around two girls whose birthdays were on consecutive dates. Caused me loads of trouble over the years. And I still mix their birthday up when congratulating them on their birthday even after all these decades. An update on my original post. One of those ladies passed away a year after I typed those words. And I fell out with the other. So I finally won’t have to worry about getting the dates mixed up. |
