I was listening....well that isn't quite accurate....I put the first Sky CD on the system and sat down this afternoon. I made it as far as track three. I've always thought that John Williams was a bit wooden but as he was reading the notes and all the others were just doing their thing, it was the most 'orrible mismatch of styles imaginable and I got bored, irritated and generally amused all at the same time.

I seem to recall that it was quite well thought of at the time. Quite why I have carried it around with me all these years I don't know. I suppose CDs are easier than LPs in that regard.
