Toasted crumpets with triangles of Pie d'Angloys cheese (halved horizontally) on top. 40 seconds in the microwave to make the cheese really 'gloopy' (a technical term) and plenty of pepper, was my lunch today. I'll be having the 'other half' tomorrow.

Pasta with Bolognese sauce to the family recipe from my aunt who was a TV chef in Italy in the 60s. Followed by Italian roast vegetables and marinaded griddled chicken thigh fillets. This was washed down with a Chianti Rustico. Desert was home made fruits of the forrest ice cream and coffee.

Just finished this . . .
Jumbo porridge oats made with coconut milk, grated apple, cinnamon, Greek yoghurt and blueberries. Topped with mixed seeds and a drizzle of honey - black coffee on the side.
That'll keep me going until dinner tonight.

Two medium sized baked potatoes.
Microwaved for 5 mins then turn over and another 5 mins.
Cut in half, surface scored and a big knob of butter, a spread of mayo, pinch of salt then covered with grated mature cheddar.
Should keep me going till the gammon joint tonight.

That’s just weird, my father-in-law who’s from Liverpool puts everything in bread.
