Have you tried Saint Agur on crumpets, Paul? I actually don't like blue cheese. Odd, I love blue cheese dressing, but I've never found a blue cheese that I likesd, and believe me when I say, Jeanette had me test drive a lot of them (including St Agur) because she was a huge fan of blue cheeses. I always made sure to order Stilton for her at Christmas. I seem to remember she liked that Blacksticks Blue too.

Saint Agur is possibly my favourite, but I do like Stilton, Cambazola (you might like this one), Roquefort and a couple of others.

I've ordered a Petit Reblochon this week. I've never tried it befdore, but was feeling adventurous.

Sainsbury's Chaource is an evil thing, it is Satanic cheese. It will tempt you from the path of righteousness and make you eat far too much of it. Imagine the smoothest, creamiest, Brie that you've ever eaten, one you could almost drink through a straw, and you're close, but you need to experience it for yourself.

I thought Pie d'Angloys is that.

I thought Pie d'Angloys is that. Try the Chaource, and get back to me.

Chaource, again. It marries up with Caramelised Onion Chutney wonderfully. I also had some of this with tonight's cheese orgy, and it was very nice. They make a similar potato omelette with spinach instead of Chorizo which is also great with cheese, or smoked salmon in place of blinis, and there's a double-sized "plain" version with onion too. I've ordered more Chaource while it's still on special offer at Sainsbury's.
