Not so simple
The Saab was put up on a ramp and checked. Toe in and camber on all 4 wheels Rear camber so far out it needs shims, which they can't do Next stop Saab specialist

First 86/BRZ meeting of the year. A good assortment of cars with a couple of the new generation GR86, as well as the usual guest Corvette and 370Z. A wet day and hard to keep the car clean. Blackbushe Airport is due for massive redevelopment so we're not sure how long our much loved venue will continue to host car meetings.

Plus they change them often - on tick You've got me there. I have the car I wanted and I'm keeping it. A VERY few cars could pull me away, in order: Lexus LFA (dream on), Honda NSX, Alpine A110 S, possibly a Porsche Cayman S. All do-able except the Lexus, but that's about it.

Whenever they get a sensible car I think they may now have got the message - then they get something utterly different and usually not clever. The old phrases have gone, HP, Never never, tick replaced by PFP or whatever, lease and maybe others They are *borrowing money* The car is the end product If I wanted a car now my first choice would be a Saab 9000, 9-5 Estate but they are a bit old so I'm glad I don't have to choose. Hatch, medium or big or medium-big estate

Friend of mine was telling me that a lot of students expect their parents to provide a car nowadays! Glad my son is more sensible. Can't imagine the insurance costs. We've all got to brace ourselves for big rises this year.

Surprise I would have expected students generally would not want a car

My son lives in Bristol and doesn't want a car. Sensible considering how much it would cost him. He walks a lot and uses Uber or trains for longer distances.

Over the years I've watched videos many times about the Porsche Carrera GT.
And this bizarre little beast called the Porsche 918 Spyder.
Do you guys know anything about these, or know anybody who drives them?

No, Maserati actually, really make an SUV If it's as reliable as their other cars it'll spend more time at the garage than on the road.

For me, the few which really stand out on the road are the Subaru BRZ, Toyota GT86, Mazda MX-5, Nissan 370Z and the mighty GT-R, Lotus Elise and relatives, Lexus LFA, Porsche Cayman. Well, I can't and never will have a Lexus LFA. However, after reading up on and watching The Lexus LC500 in action, I think my object of next lust has crystallised into something real. Give me a couple of years and watch this space.

Oh good. Seemed a bit high to me
The £25 for a loaner is great. As many days as you want, any mileage, just fill the tank up to where it was when you took it
