I'll be praying to the record cleaning gods tonight that David's phone rings tomorrow with good news from Paul Zilch! Anyway I have Mofi's full range of fluids at my disposal, sold 100's of bottles of l'art du son not one single complaint, and there is always Clearaudio's fluid to fall back on.

I'm terrible at maths! Have I got this right?
I would like to make up 250ml which means adding 1.25ml triton x from a syringe for a 0.5% solution
Why do they suggest making a 10% solution first?

That's a shame David... so it looks like the Mofi fluid will be my next tipple. Got around half a bottle of the Tonar left, so once that gets near to the last applicator bottle full, I'll be ordering via the website...

You could all club together and do a Clearaudio group buy if that helps. I will order as big a container as they supply and decant it all for each person who wants some.
Next to Paul's fluid its probably the best.

Why do they suggest making a 10% solution first? This type of adjuvent is difficult to mix thoroughly with water, so you should add the water to it, rather than the other way around. Add it slowly and stir, rather than dumping it all into the container in one go.

Cheers Jules... I'm hanging fire until you report back on the Nessie. I have plenty of the Tonar cleaner, so please don't think you're under any pressure Well I wouldn't rush to buy the Nessie fluid. I cleaned a batch with it today and first impressions are not good at all. After cleaning I noticed that the sound was bit muddy - checked my stylus to find it was picking up loads of crud from the grooves - not good. That has never happened before - maybe it needs another rinse with purified water but I can't be bothered with that lark. On another lp I noticed way too much snap, crackle and pop - gave it another clean with The Right One and it was nearly entirely silent. Most records get extremely clean with just one dose of Right One, if I think the vinyl is really dirty I give it another ...

The Right One is now available for anyone who wants some. My experiment this morning reminded me that it is a high quality product - of that there is no doubt. Of course you need to make your margin as we will be buying from a distributor and not direct any more, but after you've added on 6 quid postage it's a fairly hefty price increase.

New website woes, migrating 1400+ products to a new site and then adding a lot more, shipping charges all over the place.
Hopefully now resolved to £2.50 postage for 500ml which is what it costs us to post.
I mixed a bottle up for Paul to test first, he has approved it.
