Described as having 2 SIMS Phone itself asks me if I want to make a call on SIM 1 There is a huge amount in Android. Will take me a while to grasp the essential points. Need to work out how to carry it on the bike. Keeping sweat off it plus keeping it safe. Dual SIM would be very modern Walter White of you Mike! You are either having affairs or dealing "I'm not a dealer, I'm a producer" in an angry voice.. So this is me with a bonus SIM then ? Call me Heisenberg ! There used to be a neighbour who was always on his mobile when walking his dogs. That sort of bloke I thought. I must be in touch with my people - I must be on the phone to show how very important I am They moved. We hear the marriage of some years is over. Perhaps he had 2 SIMS

According to the manual for your phone (which I downloaded) and various online videos. it only takes a single sim and has provision for a memory card, Mike. That's all. How you've come up with dual sims is, I'm afraid, beyond me? Double check, please. Can you type out the exact model number of your phone, which should be on the back cover of the phone itself? Knowing your luck we really ought to make sure that the correct phone was in the box.

Sometimes the SIM and SD card sockets are stacked, making it look like dual SIM.

Sometimes the SIM and SD card sockets are stacked, making it look like dual SIM. That's exactly how they are (or should be) set up. The SIM goes in first, and then the SD card goes over the top of it. It was just Mike's referring to being asked if he wanted to make a call from "SIM 1" that has confused the issue for me.

I have what looks like a SIM slide in jobbie Says on the right "2>nano SIM" S.No could be M250 MM027C or M250n 8L

It must be a dual-SIM model, then. No problem, just don't use SIM 2.

Nope, the M250N model does not support dual SIMS. Single SIM, and provision for a microSD card of up to 2GB 16GB or 2TB depending on which website you trust. The downloaded User Manual says 2TB

Sussed. Your phone cannot be the 250N, as stated in the advert. The 250N is made for sale in the EU and is a single sim device. Some other versions, made for sale in other locales, do actually have dual sims. Somewhere on your phone is " M" followed by the number 250 followed by a letter, or letters (e.g. M250i = India) and you need to find that, Mike, and then we can work from there, because some will have different 4G bands relevant to the region they're intended for. The letter(s) should be... E, F, i, K, or DSN, I think. If there is no letter then that's the Russian version. If you look at the original listing - www.ebay.co.uk/itm/LG-K10-2017-M250n-4G-Black-16GB-Unlocked-Smartphone/202480917697 you'll see the specs at the bottom where it states "Number of SIMs 1" so worst case scenario it's not as described so you can get your money back. Final thought - Does it say "M250N" on the box?

If there is no letter then that's the Russian version. ...and they now REALLY know where you are.
