Seriously, anyone that buys one of these things needs to have their heads read... it is the same cable as they used to produce just with a fancy plug on the end and and £60 price hike!

That'll be £92.50 for the brand name, then.

There are people on other forums (which will rename nameless) saying this makes a massive improvement over the original cable... really, really!

"It uses the expertise from their original Power-Line mains cable to create a superior plug, paired with the mains cable Naim have trusted in their listening tests for over 15 years."
If it's not made inexpensively in China I'll eat my hat.

Perhaps it has one of those expensive gold plated fuses in the plug too? We all know what a difference they make

Absolute scumbuckets! That is an i-sheng power cord, costing £2-3 on Amazon retail. This means they will be paying pence for them before putting their Naim plug on! Of course their special plug will make all the difference ...

Could there possibly be a DC blocker in the block just below the body of the plug?

It would have to have very small capacitors and wouldn't allow much current through.

They have used the same plug as the power line as it's been tooled up for and inside it's a standard mains plug.
