Really pleased for you John, as l've probably already said...lt's been an exceptional discovery period over the past months. Will there be any further wonders to follow...Never say never.

Well I finally got the Church Bells on Waking the Witch by Kate Bush to fully ring. It's only taken 20 years to get there. It's a stiff test, John. I'm happy to report the chanting and bell ringing are clear as, err, a bell. The song doesn't sound a mess at all these days. Certainly wasn't the case when I started this journey.

It's one of those tracks.. The bells, the bells! Clear, clean ringing, if not overly loud..
Have you listened to Caught a light sneeze, by Tori Amos? Also a good challenge.

I had the day off so decided to see my friend Vic. Vic has been busy with some new Focal monitor's. These are open and detailed fully active with crossover control, that mesh well with his subs. The big surprise was the vinyl system. Vic has done a lot of work around isolation and speed stability. Apart from the vinyl crackles I would not be able to hear the difference between the 2 mediums. It's a long time since I could say that about vinyl.
