I'm thinking of hand rolling capacitors using my own ear wax

I am thinking of converting my schuko plugs to U.K., just so that I can experience the wonder of these mains plug fuses, as it is not difficult to do.

Is it better if the wax is collected in the morning or the afternoon?

Is it better if the wax is collected in the morning or the afternoon? Mind your own beeswax.

Hmmmmm, may hap even the strain of pollen might play a tonal role in all of this!

I'm ordering another SR Blue shortly for the power amp. I like what the other two have done, especially in the body of the music (noted especially by a few people who have been round for a listen) and the lack of hard edges. A decent step up from the Red and, I think, a touch more forgiving.

Is it better if the wax is collected in the morning or the afternoon? No, don't be daft. What does matter is the route the bees take to their hive, as this will determine the direction in which the fuse should be fitted. Obviously.

Is it better if the wax is collected in the morning or the afternoon? Night time is best, the bees are more relaxed.

I though morning would be best, as they would be full of energy after a good sleep?

As I don’t need mains fuses, my system must sound so much better than if I lived in the U.K.?

All other things being equal
Yes No need to introduce anything into the chain you don't need
You must have fuses or breakers somewhere though. Earth as well ? (Not a sparky BTW !)

Most likely so WC, were it feasable to run a dedicated line into my room I would go Schuko all the way to the CU. However, that said most elements of a system, unless Class 2, utilize one or more fuses within the mains, Schuko regardless. it is only very recently that I have paid more attention to the 13A lines and I have yet to hear a compelling reason NOT to replace the bogo glass fuse that was shipped with mine and friends equipment, with an after market fuse.

Radial circuit fitted with a dual pole 16A breaker, but only 6 sockets instead of the allowed limit. It is a separate feed I fitted just for the HiFi etc.

I always have to question that if something takes time, it is not always an improvement but it is your brain getting used to the new sound. Expectation bias will kick in as well, especially when paying £130 for said item.

Again -I'm no sparky and be very careful around electrics if not 100% competent and confident
