A car without a steering wheel? Have they never watched a disaster movie?

Pre65 and I have an advantage I think. We live in a VERY laid-back part of the country where real boy racers seem to be a rare thing. Here on the coast, we do have a few mostly Audi drivers who push it a bit. BMW's are mostly old ones and newer examples of these and Mercs are all driven by old biddie pensioner couples (I'm nearly one, so can say this fairly).
What gets my goat are the giant car-vans like BMW Z6's, driven mostly by bullish and rather 'large' middle aged men and their trophy wives...

The Audi Q7 is immense and mostly seems to be occupied by a single person. What a profligate and ugly thing it is.
