Some great farmland shots there Chris. Every year I pass places like that when on holiday. But I am always unlucky to be on a road where it is impossible to pull up in a safe place to take some pics. One such stretch is the road between the Brighton horse racing track and the Brighton football stadium. Beautiful scenery, but absolutely nowhere to stop without causing a congestion or accident.

Thanks Stan. All of these would be from not too far away from there - two are taken from Devil's Dyke and the one with the city of Brighton & Hove in the distance is a view from the hills between Steyning and Lancing - that view probably contains the area you're referring to!

Great pictures Chris. I plan to buy a campervan next year so I can enjoy views like that more often. There's so much of the UK I have yet to discover, in fact I've seen more of the world than the UK!

I visited the 1936 Olympic Stadium in Berlin last week and it was fascinating in several ways. Firstly, the original architecture is fantastic. Inside, a modern glass roof now covers the spectators. Here, it's framing the original 1936 Olympic flame cauldron - the idea of the flame and its journey from Greece to the site of the games was devised for the 1936 games - just another part of the propaganda that drenched that particular event. Back outside again. I liked the idea of this little plastic kids seat hinting at what lies within......
