Was in the watchmakers yesterday chasing up a repair. Guy REALLY knows his stuff but he's a bit....potty/disorganised/mental. I said how's my watch coming on He says hmmmm and proceeds to tell me he's lost it.
Oh,my poor heart. 20 minutes later he finds it on his bench exactly where it had been left 6 days ago.
You've just got to laugh.

Took a watch to get pressure tested today and the utter rot the shop assistant piped up with delivered with utter confidence made me despair. Walked out,sat in the car,shook my head and just burst out laughing.
It's all you can do most times. I despair.

Laugh aint the half of it, getting temp ban from Hi-Fi Subjective reason mainly being that the owner thinks i am the same person as another poster cos we post similar. The other poster in Question aint even English although you would think he was..  |

You lost me either dat or RB is in Thick mode! RD can get a bit paranoid about similar posting style as there have been a few instances of likely dual accounts taking the piss. Sometimes you do come over as having a laugh rather than engaging in serious discussion. Doesn't help when a new member joins using similar lingo. |

I am having a laugh because i have no interest in Hi-Fi anymore, its all a joke to me these days.. But dual accounts & using others log in's is a big no with me.

Squirrel sitting behind a tree on a quiet road munching on a nut or similar.
I said hello as I cycled past
Squirrel ignored me, carried on munching
This was a hard squirrel

Squirrels.
Here is a strange thing: Grey squirrels eat the sèeds from a Pine cone by picking away at random, tearing the scales off the cone in no particular order, whereas Red squirrels work methodically around the cone, working in a spiral from one end to the other, taking each seed in turn.

The grey squirrels that go for our bird feeders risk their lives as our dogs hate them with a passion - and will kill them given half a chance. Still they come and still the dogs go for them
