All a bit Heath Robinson at the moment, but I now have my own apartment and I've just set-up my new speakers, which have surprised me sound wise together with the Mini-T amp, but they are rated 90db so they'll be plenty pokey enough for the T-amp. What I am pleased with is how capable they are and they're a far cry from my memories of overly bright MA speakers. I can certainly live with them

Just need to put JRiver on my laptop, attach my 4,000+ album FLAC library and hey presto, I have all my music again . . . I've just bought an ASUS E402MA laptop for only 129 quid from Ebuyer, to use as a music server and I'll have a permanent system, as my present laptop is a large one which I use for work, so I take it into the office everyday. Definitely not ideal to repeatedly setup as a music player everyday and I'll want to tweak it, stripping out all unnecessary bloat and optimising it just for music playback via JRiver. Lot's of music, for not much wonga.
