Cant take a thing from Hamilton. Where he is now, all things considered is to his credit, a genuinely excellent Formula 1 race driver among his peers.
Out of a schedule of 21 races this season we are already down to just 9 races left. Still enough for maybe more twists and turns.
Looking forward to the first race after the summer break at the end of August, in Belgium.

Hockenheim just goes to show why Rosberg will never be world champion. I just hope you are right - but at this present time, the momentum is certainly with Lewis

I was just having a debate on a F1 Facebook group about the differences between Lewis and Nico and we got onto the subject of interviews. My argument was that Rosberg is rude and comes across in brash and rich-boy manner which drives me bonkers and his argument was that Hamilton quite often is chewing gum (think Tim mentioned this) and a lot of the time keeps his sunglasses on. So what are your thoughts? I cannot stand Rosberg (if you haven't already guessed) but then again, that has nothing to do with him being Lewis's team mate, I never liked him, even when he first came into F1 with Williams. Lewis on the other hand I was following in the lower categories and knew he was going to be rather impressive when he appeared on the F1 scene, and thankfully I have been proved right

It's the trade mark of Lewis to be chewing gum and wearing different kind of sunglasses whilst giving interviews. He might actually even be receiving sponsorship money to advertise those products. Nothing happens without the say of Bernie, and so far he has not commented on it. One thing I like about Lewis is that he has shown that you can come from a council estate and end up mixing it with the rich and famous without having to commit any criminal act. Quite a few other famous people have done the same. Examples like this should be used to demonstrate to youngsters on estates and neighbourhood who have lost their will to succeed that it is not impossible. No matter what your race, religion, or background is.

Spa driven my 7 there. Brilliant circuit, and no I did not attempt Eau Rouge flat! Backing it in at La Source was great. What a track!

It's my favourite track on the calendar. Watching them go up Eau Rouge with only a tiny lift is quite awesome.

I see that Bernie's MIL was located and rescued without any payment. The abductors were promised £4,600 each for making the actual kidnap, snatched at her door as they posed as delivery drivers. Considering the subsequent request for £28 million ransom I reckon they phoned in a tip-off out of spite.
And the F1 radio ban completely removed! Talk about a U-turn. A voice of reason spoke and was heard - so must have been while Bernie was otherwise occupied...

The 2017 spec cars look great with their wider stance and much wider wheels and tyres. Together with the already superb engines, it's going to be a good formula again. Let's hope they stabilise it rather than fiddle with it every year.

It looks like Hamilton is going to take the engine grid place hits at Spa. Bring on the racing!

It looks like Hamilton is going to take the engine grid place hits at Spa. Bring on the racing! He's timed it nicely though. It's a long track with easy overtaking, and despite starting at the back (as I have been informed), I have no doubt he'll be in the top 5 by the end of the race. Look out Rosberg!

Those Red Bulls may be hard to catch.

It's going to be interesting watching Lewis carve his way through the race tomorrow... I just hope he manages to get into the points (and hopefully remains ahead of Rosberg in the championship at the end of the race).
He has more than the capability to do it so it should be a fun race to watch.
Additionally, it'll be quite interesting to see if Verstappen can upset the party and get past Rosberg. The Red Bull cars are looking rather tasty and he is easily a better driver already than Rosberg, so could be interesting.
You never know, Verstappen might do Lewis a favour and punt Rosberg off at the first corner - here's hoping hehe

What a great race from Hamilton - 21st to 3rd! Really great damage limitation and hopefully he has enough engines to get him to the end of the race. Aren't the McLarens doing well? Force India, too.
Seeing Mark Webber drink Ricciardos' 'shoey' was fun!

Great race!
I thought the Sky comment was ridiculous, Something along the lines of Rosberg won the psychological war at this race, erm, Lewis started 21st and ended up 3rd, whilst Rosberg started 1st and ended up 1st, I'd say that Lewis easily won that one! - oh and Lewis remains leading by 9 points where he could have easily not scored any points and been 6 points behind had things gone badly, pretty impressive outcome I'd say.
What's your thoughts on the Vettel, Verstappen, Raikkonen incident? I think it was Vettel's fault if anyone but really a racing incident.
