First band I saw there was Free in March '70, so I missed Floyd and Zeppelin in '69. Saw some brilliant bands there though. Genesis (supporting Lindisfarne first time round!), Fairport, Edgar Broughton (6 times), Groundhogs (6 times) Fotheringay, Budgie, Black Sabbath, Medicine Head, Hawkwind, ELP's debut concert, Strawbs, Gentle Giant, Curved Air and others, but I still look back at those flyers and think how did I miss so much?

Some great memories I used to always like seeing bands just before they really made it so you could feel that hunger and passion

Aye Guildhall was ELP's furst un, Never understood why people think it was the Isle Of Wight..
