What you been spending your cutter on mi Bruvvers? What a rare style of communication you use. Never heard cutter - presumably money eh? Anti social soul that I am I'm not bruvver to anyone on forums especiallly people who live in a vastly different world. To reply to what I guess you meant I bought with money some pads to secure my speakers to their stands and convinced myself they made a NIGHT and DAY difference

For me, this month's spending money has gone on a carbon fibre bonnet for my CR-Z. I need cooling vents for the supercharger I've had installed, and the lighter weight won't do any harm either.

Kinda solid state solder bath, Tony? Spot on Martin Working on some interesting designs at the moment and needed to place a lot of 'real estate' in a relatively small area. Took a few attempts to get the hang of this new fangled method of quality soldering of SM components. Now delivering quite superb results

My latest toy is a Canon EOS40D camera and a 17-85mm zoom. Second-hand but under £200 for the pair.
This is a "proper" camera with a magnesium body, none of yer lightweight plastic. Bought it to get back into "serious" photography rather than snaps.

I was dithering over a new guitar pedal on eBay, and then, last night, the seller dropped the price by 5% but just before I pulled the trigger I thought I'd have a quick scan around the net. Lo and behold, the lovely folk at Andertons were selling it even cheaper, and with free 2-day delivery. It'll be here tomorrow. The daft thing is, well, the daft things are, truth be told, I've never contemplated paying " shop-price" for a pedal before, and the video that "sold" it to me was possibly the worst one on the net. Not the one below. It was this one.

I got rid off the Fender Bassbreaker 30r as I just don't have the space for it. I shall miss it as has some great tones. I got the Yamaha THR30 with a wireless dongle It doesn't have the same quality in lead tones but clean and crunch are good I might get a Bluetooth midi pedal to change channels

I prefer it to the Katana better clean tones to my ears. If I had the space the Fender Bassbreaker would be still my preferred choice (fabulous amp) but no way of getting it up to the loft where I have more room I did have a Helix Line 6 for a week in my HiFi system and getting some good tones but i just can't be bothered to take the next year to learn how to properly use it. YouTube didn't really help I needed someone I could chat to in real time to get to grips with it
