Full size electric guitar when I was a kid. I struggled to reach the chords with my small hands at the time. My only other dabble was a Stylophone!

I was a drummer for about 20 years, so had a fair few drum kits in that time, had a couple of guitars. Nothing special

That's a fair stable you have.

This is my latest treasure The 'Lekky is a Washburn Billy T 10 in blue Get that bloody sticker off the bridge - it's a guitar, not an ornament, and it's certainly not an investment. Play it, make it your own

Yes Chris I know
I am playing it - and loving it. I know you were teasing but
1) its the original pic from when I first got it, but... 2) the sticker is still there. I am paronoid I will forget. It says "cap screws mount pickup DO NOT ADJUST". If it ever accumulated dust for 6 months...

I was teasing You'd be surprised how many folk do not remove stickers and protective clear sheeting from their guitar, thinking that it might just increase the value of the guitar by just a little bit. It doesn't, and a new owner (should the guitar be sold on) will find that there are odd looking patches on their instrument once they've removed all of the shop protection stuff. What are these cap screws that are mentioned? It's not too clear looking at Maton's website. Talking of fading finishes look at the video from around 19:20

I see you have GAS (guitar acquisition syndrome). That's a fair stable you have. It's got so bad that I'm now getting " it's about time you sold some of them before you buy any more" mutterings. At least it's not DON'T buy any more...yet. Love the Bernie Marsden video by the way. You definitely can't judge a book by it's cover. I reckon both Bernie and his L.P. could slot into that category. I've bought a few bits and pieces from Andertons. I'll have to look at their videos if they're as interesting as that one.

I guess there will be specialists who already have the market sewn up....

There are a couple of allen screws either side of the bridge. I can't really think why anyone would look to tamper with them - although they do look just like the screws for adjusting the height of the bridge on a floyd-rose. But I have this awesome capacity for doing the really stupid

However i don't think i would touch one these days unless it was a modular system.

But I have this awesome capacity for doing the really stupid Ah, I wondered what they were for. My initial thought was bridge height adjustment, but without reading the owner's manual (I would hope that Maton supplied the guitar with an owner's manual) it's an easy assumption to make. Now with this awesome capacity that you lay claim to having ..... are you safe to be out and about without supervision?
