We keeping a eye on that Richard Richard please get you fact right and information correct. Brain_Dead was NOT chosen by me but by your friend and mine Dave, and he gave it to me after I recovered from a illness as a fun joke, and it was only you that decided to use it has a insult. Oh and as you are aware it is not used anymore or has been on any other forum, I always use my real name without hiding, do you? So as normal no facts.

Sigh!
I am Richard Dunn, I am the owners and designer of NVA (nenevalleyaudio), and owner and admin on HFS (hifisubjectivist) forum.
I have never hidden any of that.

Right, this thread has the distinction of containing the first disharmony on this forum. It's largely due to the baggage that you people have brought with you. I'd ask you to leave your baggage at the door - that includes any notion that businesses will profit from advertising here and any previous grudges or spats you may have had with people from the past. You are here as private individuals with (supposedly) something in common. I believe Martin mentioned decorum.
Richard, I would ask you to amend your details in order to publicly declare your interest in your company.

What details.
As I said before I never start it, but ****** and agendas seem to follow me around. Hence my first post. They leave me alone I leave them alone, yet two are poking already so kindly deal with them and you will have no problem with me.

So when are you going to enforce it with "the others", you know who. I am afraid I am a lazy sod I just join, I didn't read the small print.

Well, thank you very much for that Richard.
Here's a radical thought - why don't we talk about music? What do you like to listen to?

OK at the moment I am listening to on my workroom test system - Virgin Classics, Mozart Piano Concertos Nos 20 & 23, Orchestra Deutsche Kammerphill Harmonie, Soloist Mikhail Pletnev.

Excellent! I find it amazing that Mozart was so prolific. Most people in the late 1700s never even knew that the number 23 existed, quite apart from writing music for it!

I am not here to talk about NVA. And anyway it varies on a daily basis as it is a test system - for testing

Richard,
Can you recommend some of your favourite piano performances?. I am not well versed in classical, but have enjoyed most your recommendations. You posted a link to a youtube video of Vladimir Horwitz on HFS, who I now frequently listen to.
Regards, Alex

I find piano (especially so called Classical) as the most satisfying and informative music. I favour the Classical up to Tchaikovsky or Baroque back to Bach. I find most modern composers unmusical and distasteful but that maybe my ignorance.
I am afraid being a designer and builder makes me probably look for different things in music. For me a brilliant performance that is let down by poor recording, interpretation, or pressing / digital processing makes it for me unlistenable. The recording mentioned in the last post has it all for me and is my major test disc.
I am not a Classical fanatic though, I love things like The Beatles, especially Macca's early writing when influenced by his muse. I like Moody Blues and some other early pop and prog. Soul (early Chess recordings) and other music. Cannot stand rap of thump thump bollocks designed for playing in pimped up Vauxhall Astras.
Doesn't really help you but if I find time later I will look out some piano music in my play list.
