I am after some 1metre interconnects for tuner to amp [RCA]. My budget is £15-25, anyone have anything they no longer use that fits the bill please?

I cannot decide whether you know what you are doing, or if you mean this genuinely?! In several threads I have confessed my hatred for black!!

For most of us interconnect colour is not something we bother with, so hard to adjust to a hatred of a colour. I suggest just chill a bit Chris was giving you a genuine response

I don't read all of the threads on here or anywhere else, and I haven't read anything about anyone on this forum having a hatred of black until now. My post was a genuine attempt to provide a helpful answer to your question. An apology would be appreciated, seeing as you have accused of something I'm not guilty of.

Go wild and reckless - buy new. This is my standard cable - I am waiting for Wonky to persuade me I should use anything different. And its Everton Blue!! Toffee cable

Thank you for the information, I will go and look. I just thought it an opportunity for a fellow member to get rid of, what was to them, a white Elephant and make a few shillings in the process

The engineer who designed the benchmark amp uses it. I have not found line level interconnects to be much different - although I have hardly researched this exhaustively. I am waiting to see what Wonky's pet cable does for me. If you try something different - let me know what you think of it. But if you think it makes no difference, remember that's OK. Don't let peer pressure make you think you have to hear any difference.

Pinkie,
I have just bought one of those cables so that I can do a direct comparison in my system. I will let you know what I honestly think of it once I have had a chance of a proper listen.

Most of us hear differences in cables, if those differences matter to you that a entirely subjective view point. For me they matter others they do not and of course a few hear no difference what so ever.

Wonky. As discussed earlier that alternative shielding arrangement might be interesting. I hoped to play with HiFi today including some cable swapping (I have no designer cables to hand) but its too nice outside, and we have too much to do. Solved the mortgage problem on Thursday - so we are back on track to be in our new house for 20th August. We'll be neighbours - by French standards.

I use the same cables from Kenable too. Can't say much about comparative sounds, but they seem pretty well made to me.
