Mark Stewart - Exorcism of Envy 12" - to start my day
while doing yoga in a darkened room
Interesting contrast

Don't sleep regularly because of extended cancer treatment.
At 3am, I am waiting for "the Times" online edition so will read that, maybe screw up the Soduko.
Tea and toast when I've done that; maybe catch up on emails or call US west coast or possibly Japan.
Then depends what's on for the "normal" hours. Might be relax and listen to music; might be off to meetings or maybe off to the airport.
So that's really a rambling way of saying "how do I start my day? It depends?"

I have begun working away from home again in Bath, so recently my routine has been as either… wake up when the alarm goes off at 6:30am, have a shower and toddle off down for breakfast in the Hotel with time to leave for the office at 8:00 or the other option is hear the alarm at 6:30am, ignore it, ignore it some more, rush into the shower about 7:30, rush getting ready to leave the hotel for the office at 8:00…, I have found myself doing the second option a bit 'too' much

Don't sleep regularly because of extended cancer treatment. Chemo? Lack of sleep became a way of life for me. Both the direct effects of the poisoning and the incredibly painful neuropathy it caused.

Yes, exactly. It really screwed up sleep as well as nearly killing me with pneumonia. Still, given original prognosis, outcome has been much better than expected
in comparison, radiotherapy was a piece of cake. I actually missed the group of friends I made, all turning up at the Velindre hospital same time every day. Such a great bunch of people.
