What are the larger ARs? Also, do I spot MSTs at the back?

This Ebay advert made me chuckle to myself. It's a pair of unremarkable budget priced Acoustic Research speakers with stoved in tweeters, so far, so boring. It's the photos that the seller has taken that prove to be so amusing. First of all, he's decided that his 'beloved' speakers will sell much better if he puts a sword in front of one of them. Scroll down a bit more and we see all sorts of cutlery festooned around his home hi-fi. A bayonet adorning the power amp for example. Not sure what the wooden mallet is all about either. Mine were called 18B different to those, never seen a pair since..

And to me. Perfect for a first-timer I would think.

And to me. Perfect for a first-timer I would think. I was tempted and I don't need it

Sorry MartinT I missed that. Look at those poor little MSTs hiding in that tiny gap between the wall and the shelving unit!

Sorry MartinT I missed that. Look at those poor little MSTs hiding in that tiny gap between the wall and the shelving unit! To be honest, I would clear the 94s out of the way and put the MSTs to work. About a million years ago, I ran the recording and rehearsal services at the Rainbow Theatre. I put in a recording studio and used Tannoy Lockwoods in the control room and MSTs in the studio for playback. Really top notch kit.

MSTs are lovely. I missed the chance of owning a pair a while back and have regretted the silly misunderstanding between myself and their owner ever since. I have two pairs of LSTs here now though...I'm doubly blessed and cursed!
