There are a couple of special points applying to posting eBay listings here:
- Please keep them related to Audio / Hi-Fi items or music / media - Please describe the item and/or preferably display its picture - Posts just containing a link are valueless and will be removed - Keep the thread directly related to posts and avoid off-topic wibble
Thank you and start posting!

I'll go first A very nice pair of World Design WD25A here. Built from a DIY kit they look nicely put together, designed by Peter Comeau of Heybrook & Mission fame [amongst others]. They are based on the classic and hugely underrated IMO Dynaco/Scandyna A25 which use an unusual arrangement known "aperiodic loading" whereby the woofer breathes through a resistive membrane basically making a woofer in a small cabinet act as if it were in a large, sealed cabinet. Not only do they sound good they are remarkably easy to drive, well worth a try if your amplification is of the featherweight category.

+1. Have heard these at previous Owstons, they are one of the most unboxy box speakers I've heard.

I have enjoyed the originals upon which these were based. I would be interested in trying a pair of these but they rarely come up with posatge offered. Too far away to collect this time, but something I'm sure will cross my path one day.

Too far away to collect this time, but something I'm sure will cross my path one day. I have spoken to the seller [nice chap] and he is willing to box them up for £14 [he'll need to purchase materials] if the buyer is willing to organise the courier. I was toying with the idea of buying them myself but other things have caught my eye... As ever

thanks for that, James. In that case I will be bidding on these. I have too many speakers already but my wife and I have already negotiated a 10 pair rule !

Elton John's Captain Fantastic And The Brown Dirt Cowboys SACD version for £9. Not a huge fan but quite like this:

Planed oak battens 1.2m x 35mm x 20mm £4 + £10 post. You can buy up to 36 for the same postage. Might be useful for constructing plinths.

Those WD's went for a good price, did you get them Singularity ? Here's another interesting one off my watch list... A very unassuming looking pair of Pioneer Prologue 50 standmount speakers. A little pricey perhaps but the seller may be persuaded to come down a little bit, these were part of Pioneers premium speaker range from the late 80's using very high quality drivers [made in France, by Audax presumably] I can't express quite how "under the radar" they are ! ... And yes, those are 10" bass drivers in sealed cabinets - Very nice

Seller of interesting metalworking supplies.
Think I'll get some 2mm brushed stainless steel plate for a MK I Thorens 150 top plate. A 300mm x 300mm piece costs £8.75:

Some of the NAD stuff can be surprisingly good, I've been on the lookout for a "3300" ever since I sold mine... The whole Monitor Series is highly underrated & quite the opposite to the 3020 which is overrated IMO !

A nice pair of Keesonic Kubs. A mini-monitor that packs one hell of punch ! The bass response is difficult to comprehend from such a small speaker, treble can be a little "uncouth" on poor digital recordings but on the whole they are really rather good & worth £60 all day long IMO.
