Can't believe how cheap these are. Even includes postage. Local seller too:
131470451916
Edit: Better say it's a compression tweeter for £13. Normal price £79.

I don't know about any of you but recently I've gotten really cheesed off with eBay seller "Topdeal-uk". They keep listing 100's of non hifi items in the hifi category Today I have spent a good hour reporting his listings for being in the incorrect category. If you spot one please do the same, eBay do seem to be (slowly) removing the one's I report. I have actually phoned Ebay twice and been promised his listings will be removed. They are clearly operating a double standard for big sellers

I did think to myself, in Dudley Moore fashion,: "Funny… Funny… Funny thing to find in the Sound And Vision cat."
The funny thing was a pirate-type storage chest. Quite fancy one too! And it's a good £18 - £28 cheaper than elsewhere.
She be a beauty, she be… Ooh-Ahh…

The idiot has over 1900 inappropriate listings in Sound and Vision and almost 750 in Home Audio. He's doing the same thing by spamming Computing and other tech categories. I'm tempted to choose 100 of his most expensive items and click buy it now.If he complains I will simply say I made the same mistake as him and thought they were hifi items!

I'd forgotten about them.

I've resorted to clicking the used only option which removes all of his spam but not so helpful if you're looking for something new. Just stumbled across this shop: stores.ebay.co.uk/Audiophonics-FranceThey stock some interesting stuff...

I also complained that Ebay make it near impossible to report such breaches. Other than reporting individual listings, there is no way to highlight these abuses. The first EBay representative I spoke to told me that there was actually no way for her to escalate this other than manually reporting each item herself!
I will be back on the phone until they do something and I encourage others to do the same. I hate where rules only apply to "little fish" and I go out of my way to challenge it. Incidentally they also make it hard to get a number to call. You have to effectively lie and choose an option such as. My account has been taken over/compromised in order to get a number and code. I was encouraged by EBay staff to keep taking this course of action in order to report spammers. Wouldn't it be simpler to have a report member option that allowed the reporting of more than one item?
AFAIC Ebay is run by a bunch of greedy, self-serving simpletons. It's only a matter of time before a rival platform surfaces and I will be sure to do everything I can to see its success in order to bring EBay back into line. It used to be a decent company a few years ago but now it's a virtual monopoly that needs a competitor to bring it back from where it has sank.

Likewise, I'm eagerly awaiting a rival but just cant see it happening... Gumtree for example is now owned by eBay IIRC, any budding rival is bought out to protect the monopoly.

I really hope Amazon or Google fancy having a go. I didn't know about Gumtree being owned by EBay but I can't use it anyway. I was banned for life with no further appeal. Here are the details....... I started by registering and placing a handful of listings which were almost immediately removed. I rang Gumtree and was told it was because of listing breaches. I was advised to consult the emails I had been sent for the specific breaches, except that I hadn't been sent any. Escalation of my call led led to a manager reviewing my listings and agreeing there were no breaches. He told me it had to be a system error and he would reinstate the ads. Half an hour later the ads were removed again and I enterd "groundhog day". After once again agreeing that my listings did not breach their policie, Gumtree staff once again reinstated my ads themselves and once again they were automatically removed. This time I received an email confirming that I was banned for life and staff would not enter into any dialogue over the breaches or the ban. My only right of appeal was via a single email to an adress given. I appealed and gave all the facts only to receive a stock reply saying my listings had repeatedly violated listing rules and my lifetime ban was therefore upheld. It advised that any further emails from me would be ignored. To this day, no verbal or written reference has been made as to what the breaches I allegedly made were and the 2nd and third sets of listings were actually placed by Gumtree staff, not me. Gumtree and Ebay deserve each other IMO.

I've a friend who likes Gumtree (mainly old motorbikes and bits) but to be honest I think it's crap.
Ebay is so much easier to use and has so much more stuff to choose from. Like it or not, Ebay is hard to beat for an awful lot of things.

Bought one of these 2 weeks ago & it arrived this morning. For the cost, highly recommended ! Sound is very similar to my old Sabre U2 (which also uses a ES9023 so no great surprise) except this has a really nice quality headphone amp bolted on, lots of good CLC filtering etc on the power input... Build quality is rather astonishing for the cost.

No mention of "bile" or "swine"?
Bile and swine always appear in translations of audio listings.

I want a DAC with "low dive a lot bit". No idea what it means but I'll bet it sounds great!
