I like the look of the Planets and I'm usually entertained by upward firing drivers. Another time and place and I would have had a pair.

I have a pair of those. They are superb. That's not real wood veneer but they are a big box made from thick board. The mid-range driver is contained in its own sub-enclosure, the crossover is very simple. They were a UK design (Dave Beriman) produced in the UK for Europe only. Put them on low stands, back up to a wall and they'll knock your socks off for the price they will fetch.

It's a charity sale, so it should be applauded but I'm not sure whether to congratulate them on their honesty or laugh at the incompetence!
