Ooh, I'm going to struggle with this one! Chris i struggle with Kraftwerk in general apart from the first two albums & the pre Kraftwerk: Organisation 'Tone Float'. By passing their 'Ralf and Florian' which i found utterly boring the Krafty sound everyone knows them for started with 'Autobahn' which had similarities to what i disliked about Tangerine Dream around the early 80's.. Two annoying aspects of electronic music for me is Vocoder & Tinky Tonky drum machines Shame cos some of the synth parts were good on 'Man Machine' twas a bad era for music anyway IMHO..

For reasons I've never been entirely clear about I really like Autobahn, the full album. The strands seem simplistic but the sum of the whole is great.

No doubt about it 'Autobahn' was something very different for 1974. i used to have a UK 1st edition of 'Autobahn' on Spaceship vertigo..

Radioactivity is also a great minimalist album, especially the opening :-)

Seems to have been oddly renamed?

According to Wikipedia it was re-released in 2009 under its original working title. The opening track is hard core electronic....definitely worth a listen.

Quite like this album although it's not my favourite type of electronic music. 6/10.

My fav two has to be the Pre Kraftwerk: Organisation 'Tonefloat' LP & Kraftwerk ' self titled LP.. The Organisation was formed by Ralf & Florian in the late 60's..
One of the Drummer on the debut Krafty LP was Klaus Dinger of Neu fame.

Apart from The Model I've never heard any of this , the remastered tracks sound very good , very clinical punchy beats , I probably would have bought this if I'd heard it way back, anyway I enjoyed it and The Model is still a great record. 7/10
