I've just ordered one of these for a bit of fun, John . I thought it might tickle your fancy. It should fit in with my "ambient guitar" aspirations. It's dirt cheap, but makes some interesting noises as well as it being what sounds like a half-decent reverb/echo. The modestly named M-VAVE MINI UNIVERSE The review kicks in roughly half way through, at around 30:45.Apparently the "high-pitched whine" that the reviewer reports can be solved by simply running the pedal off of an individual power supply, rather than daisy-chaining the power.

Mr Goshness featuring Kaliandra Capri. That's rather gorgeous, isn't it?

We had somebody on Twatter (a racist flag-shagger, obviously) the other day who INSISTED that " England is an island" and when queried on the existence of Scotland and Wales declare that they are " parts of England." I think he was about one brain cell past spelling it Hingerland, innit. My absolute favourite though, are people who want to "Take are country back". I've even seen a photo of a tattoo proclaiming that. Just think, somebody actually paid for indelible proof that they are stupid beyond belief. I can only hope the tattooist was laughing like a loon inside.

So far today I have dropped a glass, which smashed, knocked a mug off of a worktop, and the mug smashed, obviously, and while being awfully careful (or so I thought) and hoping that the third thing (it always comes in t hrees) wouldn't be something expensive. I was putting my weekly shopping delivery away I dropped a 300ml tub of organic double cream onto one of the new runners I'd bought for the kitchen floor, and I've now got an opened 300ml tub of organic double cream and had to scrub the runner in the sink. I'd go back to bed but I'm worried I'd nod off, roll over, and fall out.

Perhaps the pink one is cheaper. I'm sure that's why Paul suggested it... Nah. Price doesn't come into it when you're discussing hypotheticals. I just think it would have been a great look onstage, with a matching guitar. Anyway, are you accusing me of being a tightwad?

I'd rock the pink one, or would have done back in the day. With a nice shell-pink Strat, maybe, or a Les Paul in " Pearl Coral" would match. And the worst part is, I'm deadly serious.

This one, John? Joking aside, what about speaker cabs, or are you going to restrict yourself to headphones?

I really like that, John. I love the addition of the pedal steel, and it's being played "properly" too. Take note Mr. Gilmour. His tone reminds me of the brilliant Andy Latimer's in places. Country-Prog?

Martin would have died and gone to audio heaven. Well, I'm glad I haven't heard it then. No point torturing ourselves with unobtanium when there are still terrific levels of musical playback left to achieve. Unobtanium is simply something one could never afford. For instance, as far as I'm concerned your system runs on unobtanium.

Trigger finger is a real pain in the bum, figuratively speaking. I had mine operated on years ago, and now I just get pins and needles where the incision was made every now and then. I'm being referred to a steroid specialist within our practice, which should speed up the process. Very happy to try a steroid injection before opting for surgery. Meanwhile, use ibuprofen cream to ease the pain. Best of luck. My op was performed under a local anaesthetic, so it's a fairly quick and easy job should it come to it.
