I used to love The Avengers and she was rather gorgeous in it. Sassy, too. She was great in Game of Thrones too!

Jimmy Barnes. Started as lead singer with Cold Chisel. Later went solo. Has done rock, soul. Awesome voice and could do screaming rock and soulful ballad equally as well. Have a listen to Cold Chisel - East and Circus Animals.

I'd agree with that point, Martin. A lot of the shops and businesses in general just haven't kept up with the times. Look at Blockbuster, they had an option early on to buy Netflix and turned it down because they didn't think that movie streaming would take off, and whilst not a High Street shop, the AA who had an opportunity to buy Google in the early days. I do agree with Dave about the landlord costs though, we have 2 shopping centres here and one is more or less empty due to businesses not being able to afford the rates. But then again the same could be said of home buying in this day and age to be fair! If they had bought them they could still have buggered them with poor management and effectively ruined the brand.

I don't understand why they would want to give away sales.

I've made the deal and this nicely made piece of Oz equipment will be on its way to me from Canada shortly. A Burson Audio AB-160 XLR unity gain line buffer. I bought the Burson for just under $CAN300, which I thought was a very decent price. Then the shipping and insurance cost me another $CAN150, which made me realise that the value equation was somewhat eroded but never mind, there is not another one anywhere in the world for sale right now. Now I've just received the wonderful letter from ParcelFarce stinging me for £82 for duty & VAT. On a used bit of kit which I asked the sender to declare as used. Utter thieving b*st*rds. Fuck me! Freight rape!

Moving away from playing albums for a bit, as I've got a hankering for a specific couple of tracks. Bob Seger 'Mainstreet' BTO - 'Blue Collar' A couple of my favorite songs there. Blue Collar is a fantastic track!
