I doubt the Townsend could take the weight, and the ones I've seen at Mike's are simply not large enough to accommodate the Usher's plinth. It would also take about four men to get a speaker onto one. No way! The thing is, I can't imagine whether the Black Ravioli would work well or otherwise. They are a lot less supple than the feet I'm using and I don't know if that would be a good thing or not. It would just have to be tried. not tried townsend platforms yet - currently using symposium platforms at present platform+ball brearings - fixed in vertical plane , but they move about in horizontal plane weight no problem max load 5000lbs & fit under my BE10s & another set under my 7foot Stats Max told me the townsend speaker platforms where a accident his italian importer used them under his speakers

Do you have any more of your deck 'out in the wild', so to speak? What do you think of it? Have you heard any of the other models in the range?
have far to many decks chris , never sell them vertere , sota , oracle , technics , garrard , artemis labs , rega , project & some others 17 at last count Sota has a 10inch helius omega silver ruby & Per Winfeld fitted at present most people thinks its a 8feet wide SME20/30 & a very nice sounding deck indeed + vacuum platter great for warped records , only problem 3 box unit & takes up 3 racks
middle/high end models are very good , low end models project/rega are much better might sell it if you want one think list price
Famous as Dr House had one in his office

Look for a good condition original pressing in a charity shop. I have one and it sounds marvellous. Got one today from the ever excellent Alan's Records in Finchley - it's a must for any vinylists within range of North London. I notice that one version of the new MFSL release is fetching around 500 quid - lunacy! £1300+ and will get higher like all deleted Mofis www.discogs.com/sell/release/9162101?ev=rb
