As I remember Martin quite liked it and Tim thought it was absolutely awful so I shall finally get to make my own mind up. On Amazon it has garnered 1,258 reviews and has averaged 3.2 stars out of a possible 5. This should be interesting I am open to bribery if anyone needs their position on the movie bolstered guys.

I'm used to being out on a limb.
Although I have finally found a fellow Lana del Ray fan!

I watched 'First Blood' last night - not seen it for ages ...
What a superb film it is. Stallone does a really great job as the Vietnam veteran.
What a shame it became a watered-down franchise after that!

Woohoo, I've been short-listed for Cineworld fan of the month and could win a £100 Cineworld Card (been going too much methinks) Got an email from Cineworld and they want to know stuff like why I like it, how many times I go etc. There is a snag though, they need a high resolution picture of me to include in the Cineworld blog and that's something I don't have! Bless em. Bloody brilliant scheme though for someone with time on their hands and a love of cinema - £17.90 a month and as many movies as I like. Unlike a lot of so called 'Unlimited' deals, this one really is.

Oh dear, what a mess of a film, which gives me no pleasure to say, as I'm a huge Coen Brothers fan and with such a strong cast and direction from George Clooney it had such promise. But it's a muddled incoherent mess, neither one thing nor the other (comedy or hard hitting drama), with two story lines that never meet and you leave wondering which way was the film supposed to be going in and what was the point? A bit of a bomb 2/5 and just because of the cast it gets a 2. Unless you are a completest, I'd wait for it on the TV, but it might not make that as it's really not worth the effort IMHO.

Just finished watching Rush again - the Jason Patric one this time. Sort of the first "undercover cop gets too involved" type films and pretty good. Going to watch Deep Cover next.

On Film 4 at the moment , Cowboys and Aliens , now looking at the title I thought parody , comedy maybe , Cowboys and Aliens how ridiculous but they did a pretty good job mixing the two subjects plus Harrison Ford and Daniel Craig starred. Remarkable ? Yes for the fact they pulled it off.

I turned the movie off before the end because I just couldn't get on with it at all, maybe it was the concept, or that I am not a massive fan of Sci-Fi, but there was just something about it.

Haha, well yours truly is Cineworld's December Unlimited fan of the month! Funny as you like, but I do go to the movies a lot and I do love it, so I'll take it like a man

Almost went to see it tonight at the cinema as I’ve been wanting to see it, and tonight was the last night at my local. You can normally count on Clooney for a good film.

I think I’ve only ever switched off 3 films before the end, and this was one of them. It was a film I was really looking forward to - I found nothing of interest at all, pretty dire.

Not sure if it’s been mentioned before, and maybe I have, but Paddy Considine’s Tyrannosaur is just so well done, so British, and so realistic in a way that very few American films can ever match. The Americans just have to exaggerate everything, but this film is relevant, it’s what is happening behind closed doors - you just don’t know the battles that every day people you meet are secretly fighting.
