Yay. Lost Girl has come to Freesat - although I watched it a couple of years ago, online. It's on 5 nights a week, Monday to Friday, at 20:00 on Pick. It was good fun, quite "adult" (although not overly so - it's Canadian) and had a half-decent story arc over 5 series. I shall re-watch it.

Have you done Fargo Steve? Or Fortitude?
There are some classic characters in those and they're certainly original, if not for the faint hearted.

Yes, watched Fargo all series twice! Fortitude was enough with once

Rebecka Martinsson is going to return sometime 2020 but with a different actress.. lSwedish Press saysIn EnglishThey did this with Wallander (Original Swedish series) and I prefered Krister Henriksson. Sascha Zacharias is all well and good but not sure you could beat Ido Engvoll in the role? I'm sure a few sauna scenes would soften my heart

That's a shame as Ido Engvoll played the part ideally, and ambiguously. She also had amazing eyes!

What next after Tin Star - Recommendations? Have you seen "Unforgotten," Steve? There have been three series, with a fourth on the way I'm happy to say. It was on ITV but you can still find it on Netflix.

Thanks. I think I may have forgotten Unforgotten will check it out.. It's the sort of telly that made British drama famous. The fact that it stars Nicola Walker doesn't hurt, and the rest of the cast is absolutely top class too.

There is nothing to touch Game of Thrones. For current content you are right but it wasn't the best in recent years IMO but that's all it is my opinion. Banshee Gotham Walking Dead Falling Skies The Originals In no particular order.

Never seen GOT ... why is it quite so popular? It has an epic story arc, superb all-round acting, sets and directorial quality easily up there with big budget films (each episode costs as much as many films), intrigue, battles, duplicity, betrayals, bit of sex and nudity, fights between the great houses, some comedic moments, heroes and anti-heroes, moments of jaw-dropping unexpected surprises, and a common and almost insurmountable enemy. In my opinion, it is easily the best drama ever made for TV. Utterly compelling.
