Thanks Paul - I've scanned all the Tartini on spoti but as yet no ideal recording of the Sonatas exists, ie a complete set by baroque specialist on a period instrument.

There are three volumes in this series of Vivaldi Chamber Concertos and Cantatas. Here’s the first; of course you might want to skip the cantatas. Lovely & pure sounding Baroque performances on period instruments by Ensemble L’Astrée.

I really like Barenboim in this Mahler 9, shame he never did a cycle. Word is he doesn't like Mahler. Weird, as he seems temperamentally ideal to me! Just a Warner Mahler 5 recording, I think (that I haven't yet tried).

This is light hearted fun for a rather dreary Sunday morning!

This is yummy as well, although the period piano sound took a while to get used to.

So three days after the concert I’ve listened to KB’s D960 again and I totally get it now. Love the timing, phrasing and intensity.
It’s a keeper for me!

Whenever I think of the Hungarian Rhapsodies I think of Brendel. But here's a highly rated fairly recent complete set by Vincenzo Maltempo. See what you think of his no 2; I think it’s good, very good.
