I keep telling people, with classic cars it not all about match high performance compared with modern cars, in the same way Classic Hi-Fi is nothing to do with High resolution sound. No, fully understand that. My surprise is more about the V6 model having been considered high performance in its day. Many family saloons push out similar power now.

Ford Focus' are surprisingly good cars to drive in my opinion. Felt like a larger car, handled very well, had plenty of oomph, not sure of engine size. Comfortable. I've driven a much older Ford Focus and thought that was pretty good. This was a few steps up from that. Guess a 1996 Saab will drive like an older car

I remember my dads very well, even tho i was very young, the longest he had a car really .regardless of the spec it was very fast. If fact that engine he had bored out & supercharged. He sold it in the end for a MK.2, i didnt like those.

I originally bought it as a stop gap, but ended up keeping it for a lot longer as I liked it so much.

Looks magnificent - it's years since we did any touring round Scotland ... Itching to go back with my son this time, he'll love the castles as well.

I like Japanese cars for their reliability and build quality. After the winter of 09/10 when we got stuck in snow I bought a Suzuki Grand Vitara SWB new in 2010 it was actually built in Japan , 7 years on and nothing absolutely nothing has been faulty. Its a 2.4 petrol engine btw.
