Yes that's the ticket for me. I have to drive a Lambo too ... It is fun. I drove a Lamborghini Gallardo. I didn't like the Ferrari at all, it was like driving a boat, whereas the Lambo was fun.

Yep, but the same could be said of Ferrari and I didn't find their car fun at all.

I don't personally drive, I have avoided owning a car all my life. But the Wife drives a Nissan 'Micra', very very reliable & good on fuel. I have fond memories of the Micra as I learnt to drive in one - was so easy to drive compared to a nasty diesel Peugeot I had to learn in for a while - the controls were so heavy it was like driving a bloody tank!!

I drove a Ferrari 360 and didn't like it at all. Yeah think it might have been a 360 that I drove. Nothing special at all (well apart from the sound, which ironically my wife loved!).

It sounded like a bag of nails and was quite uncouth in every respect. I found myself thinking of how many ways the money could be better spent.

Would have been nice if he'd started it.

I used to really covet those orange Ford Mexicos back in the day - no idea if they were decent cars or not!

Back to the Essex 3.0l V8, I can hardly believe it only pushed out 138bhp.
The 1.5l CR-Z in normally aspirated form pushes 135bhp. Mine achieves 190bhp now with a supercharger. Engine technology has moved on a bit!

I keep telling people, with classic cars it not all about match high performance compared with modern cars, in the same way Classic Hi-Fi is nothing to do with High resolution sound.
