Hello Dave, You've been away for a while, I hope you are well?
Yes, you can set up email notifications easily enough. I've copied the following from the forum 'Help' pages.
Cheers

Hi Chris Yes I'm well but a lot of things happened this year, but nothing financial ! But you know the "real" reason why I left the forum anyway ! I can only get "participated" threads to notify daily, whereas if someone like my post that can be instant Thanks Dave

There isn't really any comparison with the title of old.

I remember Howard from early AoS days.

It would be nice if Keith Howard or Jon Bamford were to get involved.
Can't find anything recent for Jimmy Hughes.

As far as I can see the Hi-Fi Answers website has nothing to do with the magazine other than name and logo.

No, it seems to just be the latest in a long line of differently named Howard blogs.

Did he acquire the rights to the name and logo, then?

I doubt the name and logo had much, if any, value as the magazine has not existed for a long time now (a shame as it was fun*). This new version seems to largely be a vehicle to attract paid advertising.
* I well remember Jimmy Hughes and his month by month discovery of DNM and Peter Belt....

Jimmy Hughes had some really good suggestions and ideas, such as removing stuffing from speakers. Even if they didn't work, many of the ideas were thought provoking. Peter Belt was not one of his better moments, though.

Odd Peter Belt has come up a few times of late, some thought he was nuts other a god, but me I thought his idea were odd, like ghost hunting with rabbits, to flighty by half, and no facts. I think he is still about and good luck to him, he can help with Geoff and his Fairy Dust at TQ he he

Yes, I believe he is still in business and now has many competitors making similarly unlikely 'accessories'.
