Asked on AOS too, so far without response but maybe they are up to here in din dins preparations.
There is one of these CDPs on sale locally for €9 - working condition it says - but on Amazon they are up for about $150. Fairly old now but why so expensive as I'm sure they were a modest machine.
Any knowledge? Its tempting at €9 just to take a punt but I have to justify the ever increasing pile of 'just in cases' to Ronnie. Understanding as she is, there are limits to how much climbing she wants to do crossing the floor.

Looked it up, don't recognise it. Not a Stable Platter type but has a Pulseflow DAC so could sound ok.

Sorry, but many Amazon reviews are written by dorks (e.g. complaining about the packaging). Take them with a large slice of cynicism.

Whilst it seemed worth a punt, I had another look at the picture he posted and there was a can of 3in1 and a can of switch cleaner in the background. He may have just been tidying it up or he might have been making sure its last legs weren't going to collapse too soon. Better safe than sorry and why do I need five CD players anyway?

It was only a single Player Mike. Pioneer seem to have used those numbers quite a bit!!

Yes, that puzzled me. Maybe different country designations as well
