I am not new to audio forums but have not frequented a lot of the main sites in a long time for the usual reasons, thought I would give it a try here hoping it is a friendly forum 
For me I am in to a bit of everything AV wise have a 7.1 setup for movies but the front is split out so I can have stereo only with server, DAC, Pre, Power setup there is even a modest TT in there, for me music is a 2ch thing, I just like it that way, I do not class myself as a headfire but when I can not have my stereo I have 1/2 a dozen pairs of in and over ears and small HP amp too.
If it is the normal thing to do I can post photos of my bits and bobs.
