Sound is in a different place.
Difficult to explain. More 'real', grounded, separation of instruments and detail.
With the recent tweaks with RDC cones and bases plus the granite placemats and coasters it makes a very nice sound.
Caravan's Girls that grow plump in the night has a lot more in it than I've ever heard before.
Looks mad, delivers

I might try some coasters distributed around the vent on the Chord. Don't want to block them as mine gets pretty warm in summer when I'm driving the system hard.

I forgot to mention that I will be making the sideboard. It will have loads of invisible means of vibration damping and isolation. Not sure it really needs it but it will be fun to try and develop. If I make it 25p, would that help?  Aah, clever Pics when you make it please Aye ah'll need to see the piccies before I part with my hard earned cash .  |
