I am looking for a amp board so I can build a dedicated amp. After hearing the Benedict Audio phono stage I think it be good to get back into listening to the Salvation again Anything over 30 watts would be ideal, something not to difficult to build. Does not to have a case I have the passive slagle volume controller so ok on the preamp side of things If not I just might look for a reasonable power amp Basically I will have two systems as do not want to use a ADC for the Salvation and do not want to go back using DACs for digital as now convinced the less conversion going on the better for the sound. Keep the signal as pure and simple as you can seems to make a lot of sense.

There are lots of TPA3116 class D boards available cheaply on eBay like this stereo one.

Looking at the spec, another class D design. Might be great, very hard to tell without trying one.

I can whole heartedly recommend a chipamp.com or a www.audiosector.com kit. When in synergy with the rest of your kit, they sound absolutely stunning.

Douglas Self blameless, available from www.signaltransfer.freeuk.com/ . You'd need 2xcompact Blameless and a power supply, plus a suitable toroid. If you are not into component stuffing, they sell them complete and tested. Much more expensive than chip based amps, but exceptionally low distortion. Craig

Nice looking modules. I believe Self designed the Parasound power amps? They are very good sounding components.
