I've just had a pop up appear with some nonsense about having made a load of visits to the site and not posted anything since 7th November, and asking what I've been up to.
Now I seem to remember posting in the Marshall amps thread, and it was on Sunday (30th November), so what gives?
To be honest I find such things irritating, which is why I use adblock.

That's interesting, Chris. We use a plug-in to do that, mostly to invite those who have never posted to please do so, but I'm well aware of the irritation value too. More worryingly is why it reminded you? It's possible that it works by looking at the IP address and that you were issued with a previously involved one by your ISP?

It's a possibility that it's related to an IP thing, but I'm on Virgin Cable, and their IP addresses tend not to change (or at least that's my experience).

Damn. 22/08 is clearly wrong, which is causing the popup. Not sure what's causing the last visit date to be incorrect.
Two accounts? Not logged in? Bad date/time on machine? Umm...

Only one account.
Both machines used are set to login automatically.
They both have the correct time and date set up.
