I own one if those excellent little Audio Technica electronic stylus cleaners, as I think, many of us do. Here's the thing, though: I have used it a fair bit since buying it in about 1985 or 86, so it must have shifted a fair quantity of stuff by now. Also, I have lived in some really dusty environments in the intervening years (not least, for 11 years across a farmyard from a busy grain dryer), . Despite that, I have never, ever cleaned mine, other that to wipe off the odd big fluffy bit sitting on the surface of the fibre pad, so I was wondering who cleans their cleaner? If you do, then, how often and how do you do it?

I just put a bit of AT stylus cleaning fluid on it occasionally. It has never looked like it needs cleaning! I bought mine back then, too, but lost the lid some years ago which still rankles.

Yes, my lid when walkies too. I might just give mine a light scrub with a little hand driven Clearaudio brush to see what come out.

...but then, I'll need something to clean that one with!
