Good thing I don't like fish, then.

It's a bit similar to what it's like when you want to buy steak round here. But here, they add a little twist to it....

I've come to the conclusion that GoT for me is a bit like EastEnders, with swords, blood and boobs. I'll soldier on but it's not really doing it for me, my mind keeps wandering, not gripped by it at all yet.

Give it time. Each series is better than the previous one. There's a lot of story setting up to accomplish.
As for EastEnders, you're having a laugh, right?

That's what Adrian said, it gets better. Sean Bean is holding it together right now, if it wasn't for him I think I may have given up by now.
Nope, wasn't joking as it does seem like a soap at the moment, just more sex and violence, some of which I feel is unnecessary and I never thought I'd say that about nudity! Lol, must be getting old.

Grim We are on the same page Mike, I think they over egged the pudding, but maybe that's what people like? I prefer a degree more finesse, but I'm only on Episode 5, I'll give it some more effort as so many people rave about it.

You haven't even got to Ramsey yet. He's a world class psychopath, very unsettling. You have so much more to go, stay with it.

Are we the only ones who enjoyed the new series of The X-Files and hope they make another one, especially as it ended on a cliff-hanger? I admit it wasn't 100% consistent, but there was definitely a lot more good than bad and the "funny one" rivalled any of it's ilk from previous series.

Could be. Watched the 1st one only. Reminded me why I stopped watching before and I so "wanted to believe" !

Finished Bosch series 2 which was equally as good as the first and now going to begin Daredevil series 2 as I really quite liked the first.

Just binged on the complete history of The Walking Dead. It's quite frustrating having to wait for each episode now. Surprisingly deep characterisation and the scenario has the potential to make you jump at any moment. A tense ride but makes GoT look like a children's program in the gore and violence area.
Enjoying The Night Manager a lot. Jump on quick if you're interested as the iPlayer episode 1 goes off Tuesday or Wednesday I think. Tom Hiddleston is hotly tipped as the next James Bond and it's not difficult to see why. He would bring back that Connery ease and charm.

Agree totally with everything you have said, really impressive show. It is strange though hearing Hugh Laurie with such a posh English accent after recently watching House LOL

After last weeks I wonder if he is up to something. Not seen last night's yet so schtum please.
The other half says Le Carre always has a flawed lead character, being a writer like
