The only series I saw Whedon fail was the appalling Doll's House

Me as well. Love the cold war feel and soundtrack. I was beginning to think it was too comedy oriented - until last night's dramatic turn ... poor Linda

Beowolf not doing it for me. Shame. Has good elements, just not done very well.

Occupied isn't really doing it for me. A little too far fetched but more importantly the actors are just not convincing.

Now this is a guilty pleasure and utterly inane really, but I'm enjoying the Canadian SF series Killjoys. The closest similar series would be Firefly. It's mostly because of her...

I thought I recognised one of the people in that "Killjoys" picture. Apparently it's Aarom Ashmore, older brother (by one minute) of Shawn Ashmore who played Mike Weston in "The Following"

I'm enjoying Fargo season 2 - never a dull moment yet not over paced.
Will try the Killjoys on Marie, she loves a bit of Sci-fi. Dark Matter was also recommended off the link I looked at for Killjoys - more to explore...

Dark Matter is a bit deeper and has a more interesting inter-personal group vibe going on. Killjoys is pure schlocky fun!

Just watched "The Enfield Haunting" and most enjoyable it was too. Mind you, I don't think we've ever seen anything with Tim Spall in that we didn't like.

The Transporter, series Give that a miss Yes, but apart from the script and the acting it's quite good. I have to say I watched a couple and was very impressed with the fight scenes. I'm guessing that the lead actor has actually "done a bit" of martial arts. Can't really think of anything else to recommend it though, unless you count the odd naked woman.
