I've just seen that Squeeze are releasing a new album of songs featured in Cradle to Grave.

Being a Swedish speaker I don't like subs and don't do Danish:) We'll watch Beck. I've read the books way way back!
I've almost got through Banshee - implausible, violent but I need to finish it. Marie is enjoying Odyssey. She would not watch Homeland (too many torture scenes), but doesn't seem to mind this.
What next is the question...

We watched Beck. Usual stuff! Not sure I'd bother if it wasn't for the language. Girl with the dragon tattoo it was not, or Wallander (the most recent was most convincing for me). Might grow on me though if there are further episodes...

Saga Norén is a wonderful, flawed but brilliant character. The two leads play their parts superbly well and make it compelling watching.

Just finished watching The Unit about an elite American forces division. Quite good, very similar to Ultimate Force with Ross Kemp although that was about that SAS.
Good at first although went on a little too long (4 Seasons).

Anyone seen Justified?
I'm almost at the end of series 6. I like the characters, some just annoy the hell out of you, a villain that you love to hate and a lead who is just so damn cool. Based on an Elmore Leonard story, an author I like who always creates unusual, humanly flawed characters, Justified has a constantly twisting storyline.

We watched Beck. Usual stuff! It wasn't bad but I prefer his 2nd in command rather than Beck as a character. There's something about Swedish: the sounds don't tally with the meaning of what they're saying in any way whatsoever! A romance language it is not!!

There's something about Swedish: the sounds don't tally with the meaning of what they're saying in any way whatsoever! A romance language it is not!! You have to speak it to appreciate it. It's not a bad language for poetry, song and love! Swedes get by anyway... Have a listen to Mikael Rickfors - Vinga (the whole album), and Ulf Lundell - Öppna landskap the track then learn Swedish and tell me they are not brilliant:) Funny that, we both thought the 2nd in command was the better Beck from a TV series pov:)
