Hi all I'd like to transfer (some of) my vinyl collection to digital and need some basic connection advice. Chain is - Technics SL1210 > Marantz PM6005 > Roland Quad Capture > iMac (via USB) I understand that I can send the signal from PM6005 via the Audio Out (RCAs) and into the instrument input/s of the Roland. The question is, what type of connector would be most suitable and why? 2 x Mono TS? or 1 x Stereo TRS?Cheers Mike

I doubt that it would make any difference that you could hear. Go with whichever is cheaper and more convenient.

Thanks Martin. The 1 channel stereo TRS cable is cheaper and more convenient, I'd prefer 1 channel if it doesn't require extra processing later.
Presumably the Roland will split the stereo signal into Left & Right. I've never used a stereo signal through it before, just mono.

Don't presume - check! Since you suggested it, I assumed that the Roland has a stereo jack input, but perhaps it doesn't?
